Free cinema screenings for schools

 

Did you know the Memo has a 4K Sony Digital projector with superb Dolby Surround Sound, a huge cinema screen and capacity for up to 550?

Below are some exciting free cinema events for schools and young people aged 5 – 19 years coming very soon to the Memo.


Cadw Open Doors – Tuesday 26 September

Organised by Cadw, Open Doors is an annual celebration of the heritage of Wales. The Memo is the largest arts centre in the Vale of Glamorgan, and is proud to feature in this year’s national Open Doors event. Our free film events will feature films marking the history of WW1. Into Film Festivalthe world’s largest free film and education event for all schools and 5 – 19 year olds across the UK – is back for another year and we’re excited to be a participating cinema!

Into Film Festival will support teachers in delivering the curriculum, across subject areas, in a dynamic and engaging way, and offers all young people wider life experiences and the chance to immerse themselves in the magic of cinema.
