Dementia Friendly Cinema

Cine-Memories is a programme of monthly afternoon screenings for everyone to enjoy.

These relaxed film screenings are specifically tailored for people living with dementia, their carers and families and they aim to make cinema more accessible, by providing an inclusive experience, in a safe and welcoming environment.

We officially re-launch our Dementia Friendly screenings on Monday 21 May during Dementia Action Week. Join us from 1:00pm in our café bar to catch up with a friend over a drink, or enjoy some dementia friendly activities with new friends, before our film screening starts at 1:30pm.

Tickets are £5.00 and include a hot drink and biscuit during a short comfort break in the film. Accompanying carers and staff go free.

We hope you can join us for some of our film screenings, we have included leaflets which provide full listings and more information about our Dementia Friendly Cinema programme.

Feedback from dementia friendly cinema attendees:

“My husband’s dementia has excluded us from many activities but with dementia screenings we feel safe enough to enjoy going to the cinema again. It has been liberating for us both as we cope with this isolating illness”
