As an independent Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) our earned income is used to support our vibrant programme, our venue and our users. The Memo prides itself in offering support to local charities and regularly offers prizes and hire facilities to many charitable events.

Richard Thomas: Throughout his career he has always devoted time to local voluntary activities and currently plays an active part in the administration of the Scout movement as Vice-chair of the Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan Area Executive committee. He is also Vice-chair of the Old School Community Hall in Sully and manager of the newly formed Sully Community Library.He was a founder member of a local civic society and co-author of the Barry Centenary Book.Richard is currently the Secretary of the Trust and serves on the Resources Committee, as well as providing professional advice on the maintenance and repair of the building.
Anna Denton-Jones: Anna is a local employment lawyer practising from the Vale of Glamorgan, serving businesses throughout South Wales and beyond so she hopes to bring the benefit of her legal skills to the charity. She’s had a connection with the Vale since she moved here in 2000, choosing deliberately to locate herself outside of Cardiff. She lived in Barry between 2003 a 2011 when she moved to Wenvoe to care for an elderly dependent, although she’s often visited since she was a child and continues to shop and socialise here when she can.She’s passionate about the Vale having its own cultural centre and events and in particular about the Memo having its historical memorial significance and the opportunity to bring Cinema back to the people of Barry. She’s long been interested in the performing arts having grown up involved in amateur dramatics, singing and dancing in the local community.
Antonia Forte: A member of the well-known local business family, Antonia returned to Barry in 1996 a, keen to contribute to the life of the town, joined the governing body of Barry Comprehensive in 2010 (becoming Chair in Mach 2016) and the Memo Trust in 2012, both by application. She retired in 2014 as the CX of a valleys based community housing association, but retains an interest in the sector and chairs the Advisory Board for Welsh Housing Quarterly. Antonia is interested in effective governance, the voluntary sector, and community engagement in social enterprise.
Paul Haley: Barry born Paul is a Chartered & Certified Internal Auditor and a Chartered Manager. He is Director of Strategic Operations at BHBi Consultancy and is responsible for provision of professional Chartered internal audit qualifications training, and management consultancy training for the Chartered Management Institute. Paul is currently a Non Exec Director of the WJEC, & Management Committee Member & Patron of the Barry Community Water Activity Centre. He has been very active within Barry regeneration since 1993 and was a Member of Barry Strategic Regeneration Board, & former Chairman of Pride In Barry. Paul is a Patron of Barry Rugby Club.
Mike Walmsley: Mike yn godwr arian proffesiynol gyda dros 12 mlynedd o brofiad o godi arian ar gyfer y sector elusennol. Yn raddedig o Goleg Brenhinol Cerdd a Drama Cymru, Mike holds two post graduate qualifications in Stage Management & Technical Theatre and Arts Management. Mike began his career as freelance lighting technician and has worked extensively in theatre, festivals, cerddoriaeth ar raddfa fawr a digwyddiadau masnachol. ers 2003, he has held a number of fundraising and business development roles for English National Opera, Welsh National Opera, The Prince’s Trust Cymru, and The Orchard Media and Events Group. Hyn o bryd mae'n dilyn gyrfa lawrydd. Mae Mike yn aelod o Sefydliad Codi Arian ac yn Gadeirydd y Sefydliad Fforwm Rhanbarthol Codi Arian Cymru De Cymru o 2014 nes 2016. Mae Mike yn briod gyda dau o blant ifanc ac yn byw yn y Barri. In his spare time he trains on Barry Island beach with the Brawd Bootcamp and runs half marathons and muddy obstacle races.
Pat Ashman: Pat yn dod at y bwrdd gyfoeth o brofiad mewn digwyddiadau a nawdd gyda gyrfa sydd wedi ymestyn dros y byd twristiaeth, chwaraeon a hamdden, gwestai a darlledu. Hi yw Nawdd ar hyn o bryd & Rheolwr Digwyddiadau ar gyfer Cymru? Cymdeithas Adeiladu fwyaf, Principality. Mae hi wedi byw yn y Rhws am nifer o flynyddoedd, ond yn wreiddiol o Cymoedd Abertawe ac mae'n siarad Cymraeg yn rhugl, sydd wedi sefyll hi o fantais wrth weithio i sefydliadau megis Amgueddfa Genedlaethol Cymru ac S4C. Mae Pat yn angerddol am y celfyddydau ac yn ei rôl yn y Principality yn rheoli partneriaethau â sefydliadau megis Canolfan Mileniwm Cymru, Eisteddfod Genedlaethol Cymru ac Only Boys Aloud. cafodd ei anrhydeddu yn ddiweddar gan Gorsedd y Beirdd am wasanaethau i'r celfyddydau yng Nghymru.
